Website reliability and safer account flows · v1.2.0
Fixed job applications to use the database's answer and eligibility fields; validated application inputs and blocked repeated submissions while requests are pending.
Made password recovery wait for session initialization, preserved recovery errors, prevented stale session races, and returned sign-ins to their intended account page.
Partner and careers pages now display real application statuses, loading failures with retry, and visible sign-out failures.
The contact form accurately explains that it opens an email draft; it no longer claims an unsent request was received.
Rejected malformed and oversized simulation snapshots, rebuilt trusted recommendation templates, and rendered imported activity text without executable HTML.
Paused simulations stop producing ambient activity, invalid clock changes are ignored, and timeline seeking works after midnight.
Added keyboard scenario selection, modal focus containment, Escape handling for menus, safer modified-click navigation, and resilient section-link scrolling.
Fixed patch-note category filtering, duplicate search descriptions, private-page indexing, snapshot file errors, legacy redirects, and missing-file handling.
Reduced the report HTML from about 10 MB to 0.20 MB by extracting its 17 figures into cacheable, lazily loaded images; all report content remains available.
Added mandatory production prerendering, desktop/mobile website checks, account regression tests, and application permission tests.
Prepared a database migration that prevents applicants from editing review decisions. The hosted database is inactive; this migration must be applied when service resumes.

React migration and interface refinement
Migrated the site from vanilla HTML/CSS/JavaScript to a React + TypeScript application (Vite, strict mode). Every existing route, page, section, form, and piece of copy is preserved, and direct loads and browser refreshes keep working on all URLs.
Introduced shared, reusable page and interaction components (a single site-wide pointer backdrop, scroll-reveal, magnetic buttons, and interactive card spotlights), used identically across every route instead of per-page copies.
Extracted the Control Plane simulation into a framework-independent, deterministic TypeScript engine (seeded, no Math.random in the core math) with a full operator surface and unit tests. React now renders state; the engine calculates it.
Centralized all Control Plane state in one authoritative store, so changing the scenario, selecting a region, adjusting controls, or approving an action updates every panel consistently, with stale state prevented on scenario reset.
Upgraded the scenario system (deterministic seeds, descriptions, pause/resume, speed and step controls, simulation clock, and a clear accumulated-vs-projected distinction), the regional topology (state-coded regions, animated workload flows, linked selection, richer tooltips), recommendations and the operator queue (a real lifecycle with separated lanes), workload orchestration (explicit states that propagate through the fleet), and verification and telemetry (baseline-vs-coordinated, charts driven by simulation history).
Improved the mobile Control Plane layout so every module stays usable without horizontal overflow.
Reworked the Control Plane around a calmer workspace hierarchy: roomier metric cards, plain-language navigation, a guided overview, a contextual inspector, and an event stream that stays collapsed until requested.
Reduced toolbar complexity by keeping only live essentials visible, moving playback speed, manual time advancement, and scenario restart into a secondary controls menu, and renaming comparisons to "Original plan" and "Helicyn plan."
Redesigned partner login as a focused access screen, removed magic-link and persistent-login controls, and isolated authentication fields from legacy form styles that caused narrow inputs, centered labels, and stray divider lines.
Restored the site-wide pointer backdrop and interaction effects on the technical report page, which previously felt like an older version of the site, while keeping the document fully readable.
Fixed clipped lowercase descenders on section headings (including "Eight signals, one board." and "From signal to verified action.") at the root, using a shared, descender-safe heading and reveal system, and audited every other heading and route for the same problem.
Accessibility and performance improvements: semantic landmarks, keyboard-accessible controls, reduced-motion support, route-level code splitting, and lazy-loaded visualization code so reading a static page never downloads the Control Plane bundle.
Standardized punctuation across source, tests, documentation, and legacy assets so the repository no longer contains em dashes.
Verified through type checking, linting, automated tests, and a production build. Version bumped to v1.1.0.

Visual refresh, light theme, and v1.0.1
Reworked the visual language across the site: a neutral dark palette, a single electric-blue accent, display typography, pill-shaped calls to action, and sentence-case labels in place of the wide-tracked mono badges.
Added a light theme with a sun/moon toggle in the nav. The choice is remembered per browser and applied before first paint, so there's no flash of the wrong theme on repeat visits.
Extended the same theming to the technical report page, including a matching toggle in its reader bar; figures keep their original white backing so plots stay legible in either theme.
Version bumped to v1.0.1.

Published the Helicyn technical report
Published the latest Helicyn technical report, including the finalized simulator methodology, parameter table, experimental results, figures, and discussion.
The website now links to the current report version across all relevant pages, giving visitors a clearer view of Helicyn's technical thesis and coordination-first approach to data center optimization.
Added a dedicated report page and downloadable PDF, and refreshed the research page's abstract, methodology, and findings summaries to match.

Sign-in and email verification fixes
Fixed a bug where clicking an account verification or magic-link email could land on a raw error screen instead of your account.
Verification and sign-in links now resolve through a single callback page that establishes your session and takes you straight into the partner portal.
Expired or already-used links now show a clear explanation and a one-click way to request a new email, instead of a dead end.

General bug fixes and polish
Fixed alignment on the founding partner stage rail so the connecting line runs through the center of each stage marker at all three stops.
Cleaned up leftover placeholder punctuation across onboarding and research copy in favor of proper commas, colons, and semicolons.
Assorted small layout and copy fixes surfaced during the founding partner program build-out.

Security and infrastructure improvements
Tightened Row Level Security policies on founding partner application data so each account can only read or write its own row.
Audited client-side configuration handling to confirm no private keys or secrets ship to the browser.
General hosting and dependency hardening ahead of wider founding partner onboarding.

LinkedIn integration
Added a LinkedIn company presence, linked from the site footer and the founding partner pages.
Founding partner outreach now runs through one consistent channel between the site and LinkedIn.

Founding Partner application
Shipped the founding partner onboarding form: company details, role, interests, and consent, backed by real per-user storage.
Added a partner portal showing live application status (submitted, reviewing, accepted, or waitlisted) instead of a static thank-you page.
Added a progress stepper to the onboarding form so partners always know how much is left.

Authentication system
Replaced the placeholder access request form with real accounts: email/password sign up and sign in, plus passwordless magic-link sign-in.
Sessions now persist across visits with real refresh-token rotation; signing out actually clears the session everywhere.
Every account and application record is backed by Postgres with Row Level Security, not a shared or mocked data store.

Mobile responsiveness improvements
Reworked the primary navigation into a proper mobile menu with a full-height panel and keyboard/escape support.
Re-tuned hero, card grid, and form layouts for small screens so nothing truncates or overlaps below 400px wide.
Increased tap target sizes across buttons, tabs, and form controls on touch devices.

Improved animations and UI polish
Added a site-wide microinteraction pass: magnetic buttons, cursor-tracked card spotlights, and staggered section reveals.
Introduced a reusable illustration and depth system so every section reads as part of one visual system.
Replaced placeholder bracket-tag styling on the research page with proper coming-soon panels.

Interactive Control Plane demo
Launched an interactive Control Plane demo simulating multi-region workload, energy, and thermal coordination.
Added operator-in-the-loop review: every simulated action can be inspected and accepted or rejected before it applies.
Added live status pills and region cards so demo state is legible at a glance, not buried in a log.
